Imagine if that were true,,,,woah the worlds Egyptologists would be chained to the pyramids- we would need to get a wireless internet connection sorted for them, so sistablu could keep us updated on answers





With logic they would get all the clever senior engineers to find a way to suck it out without affecting the Pyramid (technically i think it could be done).

but if you insist, and we are idiots enough to demolish it, you'll practically spend the oil revenues on site preparation, can you imagine the cost of demolishing and transferring the rocks from there to anywhere else?

Do not demolish it. Oil fields are temporary and can be found in many other place. There will be a day when oil will no longer be a major source of energy. On the contrary pyramids are eternal and there is no way to replace them.

Moot question: it's never going to happen. If there were huge oil fields they would have been discovered by now. Reserves of oil have been found, recently, in Egypt, but nowhere near the Great Pyramid.
