Pice of petrol? Why do you think gas price shot up as soon as we captured the third biggest oil field in the?

world at the cost of two million lives?Pice of petrol? Why do you think gas price shot up as soon as we captured the third biggest oil field in the?
Take a look at the oil companies' profits. Then take a look at who owns those companies.

And be careful of the supply and demand arguments. Demand from China in particular has been rising steadily for some time. Then take a look at the way OPEC regulates supply.

We are being taken for a ride by these profiteering bastards.

Besides - did you know that the second Gulf war followed closely after Saddam nationalised Iraq's oilfields?

Surprise, surprise.Pice of petrol? Why do you think gas price shot up as soon as we captured the third biggest oil field in the?
Not sure what oilfield you are talking about.

Oil has increased in price mainly due to increased demand from China and third world countries. Speculation by investors is also thought to be playing a big part in this. Some uncertainties in places like Nigeria and The Middle East generally (for example Iran) have led to foward prices rising.
The cost of crude is predominantly determined by the nature of supply and demand.

Iraqs oil field is not being exploited by the coalition and therefore has little bearing on crude prices.

Middle East instability does indeed cause spikes in the cost of crude but the general trend is upwards as stocks dwindle and demand grows.

Total war casualties in Iraq , 135,680.

If posters disagree with any of my post, then perhaps they could structure their sentences coherently so that I am able to decipher the point they are trying to make.

I'm afraid that babbling on about illegal wars and other misinformed leftist lib cliches doesnt amount to a deductive argument.

My posts are aimed at those who are up to speed on the issues on which I write. Most leftist libs choose to gush emotive ,hackneyed ,misinformed drivel followed by insults in the place of deductive argument. Some even make embarrassing efforts to appear intellectual in order to gain credibility. These people should just simply thumbs down my answers and take satisfaction from such. Then go elsewhere, amongst friends and tell each other about,';illegal war';,';blood for oil';,bush is the terrorist';,blah ,blah ,blah.

Obviously such people dont let facts get in the way of a good whine. The same people who feel actual physical pain that the coalition forces have been successful in Iraq. The same people who prefer the death toll to rise so that they can bleat about Bush.

Perrrlease!
Private (parts?) clearly has a very cheeky sense of humour or doesn't comprehend irony... using the little symbol he does and yet relying on solely the official figures (despite the fact that we don't count the war dead)... super irony I'd say.

Your figures are much more accurate as the BMA and Red Cross estimates use the same source our official figures use ... for Afghanistan!

Anyway, it couldn't be down to the fact that blowing up their infrastructure on out little illegal war of occupation dropped production (demand and SUPPLY Private Parts) by 2m barrels a day could it... that's about half, and seemingly enough for every speculator on the planet, US military included, to make it spike on the basis of an imminent threat to invade or bomb Iran...

Though I must admit it IS very convenient to blame China for all this... : )
It's Obviously Greed.
